Terms of Service
Last updated 13 July 2026
These are the terms for using Cliento. They are short because we would rather you actually read them.
What Cliento is
Cliento is a client manager and document portal for businesses. Your business tracks leads, converts them into clients, and collects client documents through a private portal link and a PIN.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your business's account. Keep your passwords private, and remove team members who leave. If you think someone else has your password, change it right away.
Acceptable use
Use Cliento for running your business, and stay within the law. Do not upload unlawful content, do not try to reach another business's data, and do not attempt to break or overload the service.
Your data is yours
Everything your business enters into Cliento belongs to your business. We claim no rights over it beyond what is needed to run the service. If you leave, ask and we will hand your data over, then delete it.
Availability
Cliento is provided as is. We work to keep it fast and available, and we take reasonable care with the infrastructure it runs on, but we cannot promise it will never be interrupted. We are not liable for losses caused by an interruption.
Billing
Plans are billed monthly by invoice. We never collect card details, so none are stored. If an invoice stays unpaid for a long time, we may suspend the account after contacting you.
Ending the service
You can stop using Cliento whenever you want. Tell us, and we will close the account and delete your data on request. We can also close an account that breaks these terms, and we will tell you why.
Changes
If these terms change in a way that matters, we will tell you by email before the change applies.
